D2P’s partner Milica Pešterić, participated as a speaker at the event “PKS – Partner on the Path of Sustainable Business,” held on September 15 and organized by the Italian- Serbian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with Ekonsortium and the European Enterprise Network.
The conference covered key topics in the field of sustainable business, including:
- legal framework and waste classification,
- waste management regulations – the national framework and alignment with EU standards,
- potential for environmental investments in the Republic of Serbia.
In her presentation, Milica highlighted the legal frameworks supporting ESG standards, as well as the importance of cross-sector cooperation in developing regulations that both protect societal interests and foster business growth.
The event gathered representatives of the business community, government institutions, sustainability experts, and the civil sector to exchange experiences, identify challenges, and seek sustainable solutions for the future.
