A lawyer whose career has crossed markets and legal cultures.
A co-founder whose path spans public institutions and international advisory work.
A managing partner shaping the firm’s next chapter.
Their different paths have shaped Dinova Rusev & Partners into the firm it is today – and
continue to define where it goes next.
Anelia Dinova, founder and partner, advises clients on M&A, investments and commercial real
estate. Her professional journey across different markets and legal cultures helped shape the
international perspective on which DRP was built.
“DRP joined SELA in 2023, so this tenth anniversary is not our story to tell in full – it belongs first
to the firms that built the network from day one. What struck me from our first years in is how
quickly the trust the founders built over a decade extended to us. That is the real measure of
what they created.”
Iliya Grozdanov, partner at DRP, focuses on energy, environmental and real estate matters, with
extensive experience advising clients on renewable and conventional energy projects,
regulatory issues and complex transactions. An Oxford-educated lawyer, he combines
transactional expertise with an active role in discussions on evolving energy legislation –
bringing together legal insight, sector knowledge and a practical understanding of the energy
market.
“SELA is a group of likeminded top legal experts sharing common ethical and quality standards
of the highest possible level. It’s a prove that independent law firms can operate together and
provide quality better than multinational firms using the best of both worlds – common
approach to the client while keeping the firm’s independence.”
Ivelina Cherneva, managing partner, advises clients on corporate, M&A, competition and
regulatory matters. Today, she represents the next chapter of DRP’s leadership, carrying forward
the firm’s established values while helping shape its future.
“We are one of the newer firms in SELA, but the trust between the member firms did not feel
new to us at all – it was already there when we arrived in 2023. Ten years of the same colleagues
working together across South East Europe builds a kind of consistency no engagement letter
can capture. I am glad DRP gets to be part of the next ten.”
Different generations. Different experiences. Different perspectives.
They represent the evolution of a firm connected to a wider regional story through SELA.
