Croatian office BDV, advised Žito Group in connection with the largest initial public offering (IPO) ever conducted by a privately held joint-stock company in Croatia. The offering marks a major milestone for the Croatian capital market and for Žito Group’s continued growth trajectory.
The public offering, which commenced last week, includes up to 6,651,920 shares, offered within a price range of EUR 18.50 to EUR 22.00. The transaction aims to secure at least 25% + 1 share from new investors, with the goal of further strengthening Žito Group’s shareholder structure and public market presence.
Proceeds from the IPO will support Žito’s strategic initiatives, including investments in production capacity, improvements in operational efficiency, and both organic and acquisition-driven growth. This offering marks a significant step in enhancing the Group’s market position and opening new opportunities for long-term investors in the dynamic agri-food sector.
BDV’s legal team advising on the transaction includes partners Ivan Dvojković and Marko Bohaček, along with attorneys Anamarija Javor and Ivana Mihaljević.
“This transaction represents not only a landmark moment for Žito Group but also one of the most significant capital markets deals in Croatia in recent years,” said Ivan Dvojković. “It has been a privilege to support Žito in this important chapter of its development.”
