Drakopoulos and React Hosted a Product Identification Training Seminar in Thessaloniki

SELA member from Greece – Drakopoulos and React organized a Product Identification Training seminar in Thessaloniki, bringing together 120 customs and law enforcement officers from 17 regional customs departments across Greece, along with representatives of the Hellenic Police, Municipal Police, Hellenic Coast Guard and Macedonia Airport Customs Office.

Held under the auspices of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the seminar focused on combating counterfeit goods and protecting intellectual property rights. Eighteen React member companies shared practical expertise in brand protection and product identification, helping enforcement officers strengthen their ability to detect and intercept counterfeit products.

Dr. Efthymios Chatzitheoklitos reaffirmed the Municipality’s support for anti-counterfeiting initiatives, while Michalis Kosmopoulos, partner at Dracopoulos, highlighted the importance of continued cooperation between brand owners and enforcement authorities. Mirjana Velkova thanked participating authorities for their ongoing efforts to protect consumers and intellectual property rights.

The seminar was highly appreciated by participants and reinforced the value of public-private cooperation in the fight against counterfeiting.
