On January 15, Greek office DRAKOPOULOS participated in “AI enables cybersecurity”, an event co-organized by OTE Group of Companies (HTO) COSMOTE, the BDVA – Big Data Value Association and the Vigilance and CyberAId projects, which brought together policymakers, technologists and industry leaders at the forefront of AI and cybersecurity.
Partner Petros Fragkiskos joined an expert panel alongside Evangelia Vagena, Eleni Geroutsi, Virginia Kokios, Marina Da Bormida in Cugurra and Kalloniatis Christos, contributing to a dynamic discussion on one of today’s most pressing challenges: EU AI Act requirements and organisational readiness for AI-enabled cybersecurity systems.
The panel addressed a range of topics, from governance and compliance to real-world operational impacts. One key takeaway was clear: AI regulation is not a distant concern; it is a present strategic challenge that requires legal, technical, and cultural alignment.
