The International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference 2026 is currently taking place in Copenhagen, bringing together members of the international legal community from around the world.
SELA is pleased to highlight the active participation of its member firm, DRAKOPOULOS, at this year’s conference.
DRAKOPOULOS managing partner Panagiotis Drakopoulos is attending the conference as senior chair of the IBA European Regional Forum (ERF). He is joined by Partners Mika Lalaouni, Corporate Counsel Forum Liaison Officer of the ERF Real Estate Section, Petros Fragkiskos, Council Member of the ERF, and Adrian Roseti, who heads the firm’s Romanian office.
The DRAKOPOULOS team is contributing to two ERF sessions addressing key developments shaping Europe’s economic landscape.
On 6 October, Panagiotis Drakopoulos will co-chair the session “China and Europe: Recent Trends and Changes in Trade and Investment”. The discussion will explore the evolving Sino-European relationship against the backdrop of global trade tensions, with a focus on investment structures, compliance requirements, technology transfer, labour considerations and corporate social responsibility.
On 8 October, Petros Fragkiskos will co-chair “Fueling Growth: How Europe Backs Startups, Scaleups and VCs”. The session will examine the role of public incentives, funding schemes, policy reform and private-sector initiatives in strengthening Europe’s innovation ecosystems, attracting venture capital and enhancing the continent’s competitiveness.
DRAKOPOULOS’ active involvement in the IBA Annual Conference reflects the firm’s continued engagement with the international legal community and its contribution to discussions on the legal and economic developments shaping Europe and beyond.
SELA is proud to see its member firms actively contributing to the international legal dialogue and looks forward to continued collaboration and exchange among our members and partners.
