SELA members Davorin Marinković and Milica Pešterić actively contributed to the VIII Serbian Energy Law Association (UPES) Conference

Davorin Marinkovic, managing partner at Dimitrijević & Partners, and Milica Pesteric, partner at D2P, actively participated in the VIII Conference of the Serbian Energy Law Association (UPES), held in Belgrade on 11–12 June.

Davorin Marinković took part as a panelist in the discussion titled “The Importance of Energy Law Associations in Addressing the Issue of Energy Security”, participating in his capacity as Vice President of the Energy Law Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The panel focused on the role of professional associations in strengthening energy security and fostering regional cooperation.

Milica Pešterić moderated the panel “Greening by Nuclear”, which explored various aspects of nuclear energy, including its historical development, comparative experiences across different countries, and key safety and security considerations. The discussion brought together leading energy experts to examine the role of nuclear energy within the broader context of energy transition and sustainability.

The conference gathered legal professionals, academics, regulators, and industry representatives from across the region to discuss current developments and challenges in the energy sector, with a particular focus on energy security, sustainability, and regional cooperation.
