Drakopoulos attended The Compliance Odyssey, the 9th Compliance Conference organised by the Association of Compliance Officers in Greece (ASCO Greece) and NOMIKI BIBLIOTHIKI, held on 14–15 October in Greece.
The two-day conference brought together regulators, board members, chief compliance officers and legal advisers to discuss the evolving compliance landscape and the challenges facing organisations across Europe.
Key topics included the emerging EU Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) supervisory framework, AI governance and responsible innovation, sanctions and trade controls, as well as operational resilience and the new rules for critical entities.
These developments highlight the growing importance of proactive, cross-border compliance strategies and the need for organisations to adapt to an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
With its work across Southeast Europe and beyond, Drakopoulos continues to support clients in navigating these challenges and transforming compliance obligations into strategic advantages.
