The event was jointly organized by BD2P and DPC from Bulgaria on behalf of SELA, on 24 October in Belgrade at BD2P premises.
The speakers were Uroš Popović, partner at BD2P, Miloš Andrejević, senior associate at BD2P, and Desislava Krusteva, partner at DPC.
The main topic was Personal Data Compliance and the effect of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) on Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection.
Legal expert from Bulgaria and Serbian lawyers specializing in data protection provided the attendees with a presentation on the main provisions of the GDPR, Serbian data protection regulation and how it relates to the GDPR, along with practical advice on various privacy concerns and issues regarding this topic.
The event was attended by the representatives of leading companies in Serbia and the region who, in addition to being presented with key insights of the Law on Personal Data Protection in Serbia, had the chance to participate in a Q&A session and exchange their valuable professional experience.
