B&P’S DEAL ‘NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE SALE OF VOJVODJANSKA BANKA TO OTP’ HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR THE DEAL OF THE YEAR AWARD FOR SERBIA.
There are three nominees for each of the 17 countries for which the award will be granted. The deal was proudly announced by CEE Legal Matters, together with ‘EBRD Financing of Vetroelektrane – Cibuk Windfarm’ and ‘Project Financing for the Kovacica Wind Power Plant’.
The selected nominees will be passed along to Final Selection Committee, consisting of 16 prominent legal practitioners from across CEE tasked with carefully evaluating all nominations and casting ballots for the ultimate award-winners. The winners will be announced 6 June 2018 at the CEE Legal Matters Awards Banquet in Prague.
Bojović & Partners has advised National Bank of Greece, as Serbian counsel, on its sale of Vojvođanska Banka a.d., NBG Leasing d.o.o., and a portfolio of Serbian-risk corporate loans, which were sold to OTP Banka Srbija A.D. Novi Sad. OTP Bank bought 100% of ownership in Vojvođanska Banka and NBG Leasing on 4 August 2017. The agreed consideration for the share capital of Vojvođanska Banka and NBG Leasing amounted to EUR 125 million.
