The seminar was organized especially for the members of the Bulgarian Association for People Management (BAPM) – a non-governmental organization established to support and develop the professionals in the people management field. he event took place on February 28, 2018 in Vitosha Park Hotel. The speaker was Desislava Krusteva, Partner at Dimitrov, Petrov & Co., head of the Privacy and Personal Data Protection Team, CIPP/E and Senior Legal Expert at the Law and Internet Foundation.
Ms. Krusteva explored in detail a number of topics related to the forthcoming EU-wide personal data reform, she also focused on the basic data protection principles, the grounds for lawful data processing, the rights of data subjects, data transfers and many more topical issues. Additionally, Ms. Krusteva gave useful practical tips pertinent to securing compliance with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
