On 12 December 2025, the Law on the Exchange of Data, Documents and Notifications in the Event of Temporary Incapacity for Work through the “e-Bolovanje – Employer” Software Solution (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 109/2025) (the “Law”) entered into force.
With effect from 1 January 2026, the implementation of the e-Bolovanje – Employer system introduces a unified, digital and centralised model for managing employee sick leave, replacing the previous practice based on paper documentation and manual exchange of information between employees, employers, healthcare institutions and competent authorities.
