Ratko Žurić, the founding partner of Žurić i Partneri, was awarded a special lifetime achievement “Market Maker” award. Ratko was identified by his peers as a market leading attorney who had significant personal influence on the development and creation of Croatia’s modern commercial legal market.
The award was presented on 1 June 2017 in Warsaw by CEE Legal Matters, an organisation providing in-depth coverage of the legal market in Central and Eastern Europe. CEE Legal Matters carried out comprehensive market research of the CEE legal market in 2016, which was the basis for the “Market Maker” award.
The “Market Maker” award, was conceived as recognition of the most prominent lawyers in 22 CEE countries that have, following the liberalization of their legal systems in the early ’90s, with their influence and position, personally contributed to the development of the modern legal market, each in their own jurisdiction.
