BD2P’s partner Milica Pešterić participated as a panelist at the IBA CEE Conference – The Future of Law Firm Management, which was held in Bucharest on 22 September.
Milica was one of the speakers at the panel „Law firm IT spending decisions – smart and otherwise“. She spoke about “Typical challenges that law firms face regarding IT.” She pointed out that law firms often buy sophisticated systems that would help them manage quality data and time spent on solving tasks, but such systems are usually complicated or demanding to use. The reason for this is that lawyers are insufficiently trained in the field of IT.
The Conference focus was on topics relevant to law firm management and building the law firm of the future. The Conference reviewed the lessons learned through the Covid-19 pandemic and our emergence from that period and focused on how to build the law firm of the future for the next five to ten years and beyond. Speakers included a range of law firm leaders and acknowledged experts from across the globe, providing practical advice for law firms of all sizes.
This was an opportunity for a valuable knowledge exchange.
