The mission of this year’s forum under the title “Beyond Expansionary Austerity” was to provide evidence and theory-based answers to accelerate growth, this being the main economic challenge after the fiscal consolidation. The intention was to discuss all relevant details about the drivers of growth both from macro and micro (or business) perspective, particularly regarding their interconnections.
The 25th jubilee Kopaonik business forum has so far gathered the largest number of participants, more than 1,200 for the first time during four days were able to attend 22 panels, three plenary sessions, six special events and three special speeches. The forum worked in total for about 40 hours.
The conclusions from this year’s forum will be published in the document Kopaonik Consensus, which will be sent to the wider and professional public, as well as to the Government of Serbia and the National Bank of Serbia, the creators of economic policy.
