This October marks ten years since the South East Legal Alliance was formally launched, bringing together leading independent law firms from across South East Europe under one shared vision.
A decade on, SELA connects member firms across Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia – each recognised individually for excellence in its own jurisdiction, together forming a single, unified network built on integrity, teamwork and trust.
What began in 2016 as a shared idea between a handful of firms has grown into a trusted regional legal partner for clients doing business across South East Europe – offering a single point of contact, deep local expertise, and a consistent standard of service across eleven jurisdictions.
This anniversary year, we are taking the time to look back on ten years of collaboration between firms, colleagues and clients. Ten years of different jurisdictions, different teams and different challenges, all shaped into a single, remarkable whole. It is this combination of local expertise and regional unity that continues to define who we are.
As we celebrate this milestone throughout the year, we want to thank the people and partnerships that have made SELA what it is today and we look forward to the next chapter, together.
