Andi Memi, partner at HM&H, gave an interview for CEE Legal Matters with a brief overview of the current situation in Albania.
“The increasing presence of tourists in Albania attracted many international investors” according to Andi Memi. “Investors are looking to participate either as direct investors in real estate infrastructure or through management companies in touristic facilities. This sector continues to expand, with significant growth potential.”
Memi also drew attention to the growing number of solar power farms, which is the main focus of the Albanian government, followed by wind power farms.
He emphasized that the state sees the potential of the energy sector and is not afraid to support it.
